Terms of Service

These terms govern use of Canary, a project and client management application operated by Canary. By signing in you agree to them.

Accounts

Accounts are issued by an administrator of the organisation operating Canary; the application is not open to public sign-up. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity carried out under your account. Tell your administrator promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

Use Canary only for the business purposes of the organisation that gave you access. Do not attempt to access data belonging to users or clients you are not authorised to see, interfere with the service's operation or security, or use it to store unlawful material.

Your content

Content entered into Canary — projects, tasks, documents, client records, and the like — remains the property of the organisation operating the deployment. We claim no ownership over it and use it only to provide the service.

Third-party integrations

Canary can connect to third-party services, including Google Calendar. Connecting one is optional and always initiated by you. Your use of those services stays subject to their own terms, and their availability is outside our control. What Canary does with data from those services is described in the Privacy Policy.

Availability

We aim to keep Canary available and reliable, but the service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Maintenance, upstream provider outages, and faults can interrupt access. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the service.

Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended or withdrawn by the operating organisation at any time, including when these terms are breached or when your relationship with the organisation ends. Handling of data after termination is described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the service evolves. The updated date below will change, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
